Dear colleagues,<\/p>\n

It is with great pleasure that I announce the 28th Brazilian Congress of Pediatric Cardiology, Congenital Heart Diseases, Intervention, and Pediatric Cardiac Surgery, to be hosted in the picturesque city of Gramado.<\/p>\n

In 2014, when we had the honor of hosting this grand event, the Departments of Pediatric Cardiology (DCC\/CP) and Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery (DCCVPed) collaborated to establish the Brazilian Congress of Cardiology and Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery. That year, in partnership with the Department of Congenital Heart Diseases of the Brazilian Society of Hemodynamics and Interventional Cardiology (SBHCI), we held the second edition of the Pediatric Interventional Cardiology Forum.<\/p>\n

In 2025, we are proudly consolidating the union and integration of these three societies, offering the best care for congenital heart disease in Brazil. We believe this union will foster our growth as a leading society dedicated to integrated care for patients with congenital heart diseases, from fetus to adult. <\/p>\n

Our congress will feature a comprehensive scientific program, including advancements in cardiovascular imaging diagnostics, intensive care innovations, new medications, percutaneous interventions, and surgical techniques. Extensive case discussions will span from fetal to adult care, all set in the welcoming atmosphere of Brazil\u2019s Serra Ga\u00facha. <\/p>\n

This year, we are delighted to collaborate with the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Society (PCICS), which is organizing a Pre-Congress Symposium on intensive care for neonatal and pediatric congenital heart diseases. Additionally, they will host a Multidisciplinary Symposium for nursing and allied professionals involved in congenital heart disease care. This collaboration with PCICS will enhance our event scientifically and lead to new partnerships between our societies. Several international colleagues have already confirmed their attendance. <\/p>\n

Our social events are being meticulously planned to create moments of camaraderie and enjoyment, showcasing the extraordinary hospitality of the Serra Ga\u00facha.<\/p>\n
