The 28th edition of our congress will be a great opportunity to share your scientific production with colleagues involved in congenital heart disease care, from fetus to adult.

It is not compulsory to be registered for the congress to submit an abstract. Presenting authors of approved abstracts must be registered.
SUBMISSION
- It is unnecessary to pay the congress registration fee to submit your abstract. However, if approved, the author must pay the registration fee to present it.
- The submission process is exclusively online, click here.
- Follow the instructions on screen and click on the indicated places
- The format required for the congress will be demonstrated sequentially.
- You must click on SUBMIT within the submission period for your abstract to be evaluated.
- Below is a step-by-step description of this process
STEP 1
REGISTRATION AND TYPE OF ABSTRACT
- Register with your name, e-mail address, tax number (or passport number for foreigners), telephone number, and date of birth.
- The submission process is exclusively online.
- All communication will take place via registered e-mail and telephone numbers
- Two types will be available to choose which best represents the abstract

Case Report
A case report in any medical or interdisciplinary category remains a case report. Do not classify it under any other category, as it may be disqualified and not evaluated.
STEP 2
AUTHORSHIP INFORMATION
Authors
A maximum of 09 (nine) co-authors is permitted for conventional abstract and 05 (five) for case reports.
Institutions
Register up to 05 participating institutions involved in the abstract.
Limit
Limit of up to 05 abstracts per author!
PRESENTING AUTHOR'S NAME
Enter the name of the person who will be presenting the abstract at the congress. The approved abstract should preferably be presented by the lead author of the abstract, but it may be presented by a co-author, provided they also meet the requirements of the respective category and are duly registered for the congress.
The same abstract may not be submitted under more than one category, under penalty of disqualification;

Title
The title should be concise and contain no more than 250 characters.

Keywords
List up to 03 keywords that define your abstract.
Abstracts not submitted by the deadline will not be considered!
- Up to five different abbreviations/acronyms will be accepted for each abstract; they must be placed in brackets after the full word or term appears for the first time in the text;
- Abstracts with reviews, literature analysis, or systematic reviews will not be accepted for submission;
- From 1,000 to 2,500 characters are permitted or the size of the text box for the abstract, formatted by the system, with the text and jpeg formatted table or figure upload included in this space, which must be attached separately.
- By submitting their abstract, authors agree to comply with the legislation and ethical standards governing research with human beings and animals, including approval by Research Ethics Committees. (proof must be attached)
To proceed with abstract submission, follow the guidelines below.
At the end of the text, the author has two options:
- The system will save the abstract at each stage, as a draft, and modifications can be made up to the stipulated deadline;
- Select the “send” option, submitting it definitively for evaluation by the committee. No further changes will then be allowed, including the addition and/or exclusion of co-authors.
Abstracts that are not submitted and remain as drafts will be canceled and not submitted for judging.
RECOMMENDATIONS
- Abstracts with data from the host institution or patient identification data (not anonymous) in the title, in the body of the abstract, or figures and tables will not be considered for judging. They will automatically be disqualified.
- Bibliographical references should not be included in the text
- The abstract should be presented in a structured manner: introduction and/or rationale, objective(s), methods, results, and conclusions. Case reports should be structured as follows: introduction, case description, and conclusions.
- Abstracts shall be submitted in English, Portuguese, or Spanish. Abstracts in other languages will be disqualified and will not be evaluated;
- Do not submit identical, duplicate, or incomplete topics. This may result in the abstract being disqualified
- The lead author will receive a protocol by e-mail for each abstract submitted and a summary of the individual registration with their details and those of their co-authors.
ABSTRACT EVALUATIONS
- Abstracts will be evaluated by the Abstracts Judging Committee, appointed by the Congress Abstracts Committee, and each abstract will be classified according to the average score of three different judges, blindly. average score of three different judges, blindly. - The Scientific Committee and the Abstracts Committee reserve the right to resolve any disputes that may arise during the judging process.
AWARDS
The twelve best abstracts will be presented in an Oral Presentation Session, in which the best abstract will be chosen.
The twelve best abstract in poster form will be presented in a Moderated Poster Session, where the winner will be selected
Both prizes will be announced at the Opening Session on 03/20/2025 at 6 pm.
RACHEL SNITKOWSKY AWARD
Awarded to the authors of the best oral presentation to the value of R$ 2,500.00 (two thousand five hundred Brazilian reais).
HELDER PAUPÉRIO AWARD
A prize of R$1,500.00 (one thousand five hundred Brazilian reais) for the authors of the best moderated poster.
PRESENTATION
- Notification of the approval of the Abstract and the category, day, and time of the presentation will be sent via e-mail to the author responsible for submitting the abstract. Be sure to enter the correct e-mail address in the specific field;
- Once the Abstract has been approved, it will not be possible to add co-authors or correct names.
- The presenting author must also be included in the list of authors and duly registered for the Congress by November 14, 2024, at the latest.
Certificates
Certificates will be available through the system within 7 days of the congress.
